This tutorial can be summarized into the following steps
- Connect to Arduino YUN using web browser
- Connect using SmarTTY application
- Launch Stream web browser
Prior to attempting this project, configure the Arduino YUN.

Procedure
STEP 2:
|
After connecting the Arduino YUN to the laptop, the wireless network: Arduino Yun-XXXX XXXX XXXX will be shown as an available network. Connect to it.
Open the web browser (Google Chrome used in tutorial) and key in http://<Yunname>.local/ and enter the password.
The log in page will be shown if you are successfully connected to the Arduino Yun network.
Once successfully logged in, details of the connection will be shown in the homepage.
Take note of the Wifi address.
Launch the SmarTTY application, and select Setup a new connection. In the new window, input the wifi address as the host name. The password is the same to that in the login page. Configure the settings as shown. The connection will then be selectable. Left-click it.
A prompt will appear, input the password.
The following window will appear.

STEP 3:

The UVC driver can be installed by connecting the controller via SSH and input the following (*after each line press Enter):
This is not required every single time the SmarTTY application is launched.

STEP 4:
|
Inside the web browser, open http://<Yunname>.local:8080/stream.html. It will not connect at ths point yet.
Input the following into the SmarTTY application.
You can then refresh the web browser.
It will now preview what is viewed by the USB camera. |

TIPS
- SmarTTY window keeps previewing an error, what's wrong?
Ensure that you have logged in from the login page (http://<Yunname>.local/) and have http://<Yunname>.local:8080/stream.html in the web browser before inputting the command to stream.
